“What Philosophy Is”

Reflection 1 . Philosophy of Mathematics Education

“What  Philosophy is”

In this semester, I took a course Philosopyh of Mathematics Education or if we translate to Bahasa is Filsafat Pendidikan Matematika. And then the questions is, What  Philosophy is?
Before we talk about what philosophy is, first we announce that the name of this subject that can be dillemma, because Philosphy and Filsafaat have different meaning.
We can see the philosophy from a variety of directions, so that philosophy itself has many meanings.
Philosophy relating to assumptions. If we assume something then we are building the philosophy. So we can conclude that philosophy is thought.
We also can think that philosophy like world. We can put “wold” in front of anything. For example, world of animals, world of plant, so on. It also apply in philosophy. We can put “philosophy” in front of anything. So we can conclude that everything has philosophy. Such as, the philosphy of religion, philosophy of mathematics,  etc. This is because the object of philosophy there is all that exists and may exist so there are many objects of philosophy. In other words, we can say that philosophy is life. Philosophy is something alive so we can learn philosophy by using alive methods.
Philosophy is a procedure or etiqutte. Everything in this world has their own way procedures. So philosophy is to learn about of procedures.
In daily life, we need a mirror to see our performance. We also need the reflection to see what we’ve done as a correction. It also the meaning of philosophy, reflection.
We also need tools to using philosophy and the tools is analog languges. Analog languages is highe than figurative language. The meaning also deeper and broder.
So, we can define philosophy as anything that tailored to the needs. And unse alive methood and analog language as the tool.
Now my question, how the interaction between philosophy and mathematics education?
